The Erasmus program was established in 1987 as a student exchange program. Its idea is to develop international cooperation between universities. The program supports international cooperation of higher education institutions, allows students to go abroad for partial studies and internships, promotes mobility of university staff, and enables participation in numerous projects with foreign partners.
Erasmus + is a new framework program (as of 01.01.2014) for youth education and training and for sports. Erasmus+ brings together all existing EU programs for education, training, youth and sports, including the Lifelong Learning Program (Erasmus, Leonardo da Vinci, Comenius, Grundtvig), Youth in Action and five international cooperation programs (including Erasmus Mundus, Tempus).

Electronic recruitment in USOSweb for students' study abroad trips under the ERASMUS+ Program for the 2023/2024 academic year will start on 13/02/2023 at 12:00 pm and will last until 02/03/2023 at 12:00 pm.
Please read the recruitment rules carefully, especially points 11 and 18.
In addition to the electronic application to the Faculty Dean's Representative for International Student Exchange (anna.lazinska@wmii.uni.lodz.pl), a copy of the written certification of the required foreign language at the appropriate level (certificate or document from a language school) - a document required by the Faculty Erasmus Recruitment Committee - must be delivered/submitted by 02.03.2023 (by 12:00 pm).
Recruitment results will be announced in March 2023 (in USOSweb and via email to those interested).
The student should independently find suitable subjects at the partner university.
There will be no possibility of extending the studies by another semester and realization of annual stays as part of the ongoing recruitment.
